A free, parametric answer to TPMS infill.
LatticeFree is a FreeCAD workbench that generates fully parametric, customizable TPMS lattice infill — built because that tool didn't exist for free, and it should.
Why I built this
I created this tool because there was no free way to generate a mesh with parametric, fully customizable TPMS infill. Slicers let you use a Gyroid infill, but not much beyond that — and nothing that lets you actually control density, grading, or the surface itself.
What started as a personal necessity soon became a personal mission: I grew up with a "hacking" mindset, and I believe in the power of open source. I don't just want this tool to be used — I want it to be improved, by anyone who finds it useful.
Who's behind it
Veronica Massara
I was born in Palermo in 1994, then moved to Modena to finish my Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering. Since I was a teenager I've loved experimenting with different things: Arduino, electronics, motorcycles. Now my side project is building 3D printing tools that makers and engineers can actually use.
